CINDER is the newest addition to the family here at Marabil and I couldn't be more thrilled with my new
girl! She was the pick puppy from the Rumor x Chase litter and was stopping hearts from day one. When
she was born, I almost thought she was a black bi, she was so dark, but then I found the tiniest bit of
copper on her stifle. In fact, it was her dark copper and blackest of black coats that earned her the call
name "Cinder" right from the start. Her color continues to be as striking and as clear as her mother's.
When I chose the name "Back In Black", I really had no idea how true a statement that name would
become. Aside from the striking color both she and Rumor share, Cinder is her mother's daughter in a
million different ways. Cinder has matured into nearly a carbon copy of Rumor. Their heads, expression,
clean movement, and body style are shockingly similar. Seeing the two of them together is like watching
mirror images...just that one is blue and one is black.
Cinder has also inherited her mother's intense work ethic and amazing ability to nail a free stack every
time. The large picture above is actually a free stack...I just told her to stand and tossed the cookie! Just
like mom, this girl takes her "show game" very seriously. Following a huge Best of Breed Puppy win at 13
weeks of age, I purposely held Cinder out for her to mature and I couldn't be happier with that decision. I
am so excited to get back in the show ring with this special girl in 2008 and couldn't be more thrilled with
